As an Inside Service Representative I at Super-Sod, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service to both residential and professional landscaping customers. From greeting walk-ins to processing orders, assisting with product inquiries, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming storefront, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every customer has a positive, helpful experience. If you’re a great communicator with a passion for customer care, this is your chance to grow with a team that values service, teamwork, and turfgrass expertise.   The Inside Service Representative I interact face-to-face with new and existing customers (both landscapers and residential) while providing exceptional customer service within a retail environment.   Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Greets customers as they enter the Super-Sod stores. Operates curbside, counter sales and on the yard as needed. Collects information specific to the customers’ lawn care needs both in-person and over the phone; directs request to appropriate turfgrass professional. Processes orders using Point of Sale system. Assist customers with questions relating to delivery, availability or price discrepancies. Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift. Works closely with Store Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Loaders to provide optimal customer service internally and externally. Communicates with Company Call Center and Service team members through digital internal communications boards. Responds to requests from customers and assists with operational demonstration and handling products weighing up to 50 pounds. Processes product returns and reimbursements according to Company policy and standard operating procedures. Identifies prices and services and tabulates requested quotes using internal pricing software. Communicates with members of other nodes to effectively support customer service and experience. Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports. Maintains storefront, displays and inside working areas to ensure workspaces are clean and accessible by employees and customers. Responsible for upholding a safe culture and work environment at the location. Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
