Join our SparX Traineeship Program – "Strengthening Potential, Accelerating Readiness" to gain in-demand cybersecurity skills and real-world work experience. This program is designed to upskill and reskill talents into Cybersecurity Engineers and Analysts through intensive training and hands-on client attachments. Program Overview: Intensive Training The program begins with a fully sponsored, intensive 1-week full-time training in cybersecurity fundamentals, covering key areas such as: Security Monitoring & Threat Detection – Using SIEM tools, identifying anomalies, and understanding cyber threats. Incident Response & Forensic Analysis – Handling security breaches, investigating incidents, and escalating threats. Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing – Identifying security gaps in networks and applications. Compliance & Risk Management – Aligning cybersecurity strategies with ISO 27001, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks. Trainees will receive mentorship from experienced cybersecurity professionals and work in a actual live security operations environment. Client Attachment & Hands-On Experience Following the training, trainees will be placed on a 12 months client attachment program, gaining hands-on exposure to cybersecurity operations, including: Monitoring security events and investigating threats. Conducting security assessments and penetration testing. Supporting compliance audits and security risk evaluations. Collaborating with cybersecurity engineers on security projects. Successful candidates may be converted to full-time roles within our client organizations. Cybersecurity Roles & Tracks We offer different tracks based on your experience level and career aspirations: Cybersecurity Analyst (Associate I) – For IT professionals or mid-career switchers with basic cybersecurity knowledge (education, certifications, or prior exposure). Cybersecurity Engineer (Associate II ) – For experienced IT professionals (e.g., system administrators, network engineers, developers) transitioning into cybersecurity. Requirements Roles & Responsibilities Your primary role as a Cybersecurity Engineer or Analyst will be to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents . You will work closely with cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Areas of Cybersecurity Engineer/Analyst Responsibilities: Security Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor SIEM systems and security tools for alerts and anomalies. Analyze cybersecurity systems and recommend improvements. Participate in continuous monitoring of security events. Incident Identification and Response: Identify potential security incidents and escalate to L2/L3 engineers. Conduct basic investigations to confirm security alerts.
