LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach.  We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Field Engineer to support the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of critical facility systems within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for coordinating field construction activities, supporting system startups, ensuring quality and compliance, and serving as a key liaison between contractors, design teams, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting industrial, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical facility projects and possess a strong understanding of instrumentation, controls, automation systems, and field construction practices. Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of instrumentation and controls installation activities across semiconductor facility projects. Monitor field construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, design requirements, and industry standards. Direct, coordinate, and oversee I&C subcontractor activities to ensure project schedules, quality standards, and deliverables are achieved. Facilitate issue resolution and problem-solving between subcontractors, vendors, and project teams during construction and installation activities. Review and validate instrumentation and controls design documents, identify potential constructability concerns, and recommend practical field solutions. Assist in the review and evaluation of I&C submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and technical documentation. Ensure approved design changes, revisions, and field modifications are properly communicated and incorporated into ongoing work. Track procurement activities, equipment deliveries, and installation schedules for instrumentation and controls systems. Coordinate with design engineers, consultants, inspectors, commissioning teams, and client representatives to support project execution. Verify that all instrumentation and controls installations comply with project QA/QC requirements, applicable codes, and company standards. Conduct field inspections and support quality audits to ensure workmanship and system performance meet project expectations. Develop task-specific work plans, risk assessments, and safety documentation for high-risk activities, shutdowns, and system cutovers. Support system integration activities involving Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, PLCs, and facility automation platforms. Assist with system startup, loop checks, functional testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and turnover activities. Support punch list resolution, documentation completion, and project closeout activities. Maintain accurate field reports, progress updates, and technical records throughout the project lifecycle. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all site-specific environmental, health, and safety requirements.
