We are currently recruiting for Hygiene Team Leader at our new chilled potato product packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. Shift & Hours of work: Monday to Friday - Fixed Shift, working 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs Responsibilities Lead and manage the hygiene team, delegating tasks and monitoring the execution of cleaning schedules. Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and identify areas for improvement. Provide training and support to hygiene staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable in best practices and safety protocols. Coordinate with management to arrange cleaning schedules that align with production needs. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, audits, and compliance to provide thorough reports to management. Ensure stock levels of cleaning supplies are managed effectively, reordering as necessary to maintain operations. Foster a culture of hygiene awareness and safety within the team. Participate in meetings focused on continuous improvement initiatives concerning hygiene practices. Requirements Proven experience in a hygiene or cleaning leadership role within a food production environment. In-depth knowledge of hygiene standards and health and safety regulations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively. Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for effective interactions with staff at various levels. Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
