Description
At Stash, our mission is to help people build better financial futures. We believe investing and building wealth should be accessible to everyone, and we're building products that empower millions of people to take control of their financial lives. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with approximately two years of HR experience who enjoys wearing many hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow across multiple areas of Human Resources. As an HR Generalist, you'll help ensure our People team operates smoothly while delivering an exceptional employee experience. You'll partner across the organization to support HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, people programs, systems administration, and employee engagement initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who loves solving problems, enjoys building processes, and is eager to expand their HR expertise across multiple disciplines. What you'll do:  Support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management. Coordinate and execute seamless onboarding experiences for new hires. Help administer and maintain HR systems, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date. Support People programs and initiatives including performance cycles, engagement surveys, compliance activities, and internal communications. Plan and coordinate employee events, team gatherings, learning sessions, and culture-building initiatives. Prepare HR documentation, reports, and presentations as needed. Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and People processes, escalating when appropriate. Identify opportunities to improve workflows and help automate or streamline People team processes. Partner with cross-functional teams including Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, Workplace, and Legal to ensure an excellent employee experience. Assist with recruiting efforts, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating interview logistics, and maintaining candidate communications. Jump into new projects and initiatives wherever the People team needs support. What we're looking for:  Approximately 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, People Operations, HR Administration, or a similar role. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience working with HRIS platforms (ADP and Greenhouse a major plus!). Eager to apply emerging AI tools to revamp HR processes—from drafting policies and talent sourcing to automating employee engagement initiatives. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly as business needs evolve. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Highly collaborative with a customer-service mindset and a passion for creating outstanding employee experiences. Self-starter who enjoys taking ownership while asking thoughtful questions and continuously learning. Gold Stars:  Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition processes. Experience planning employee events or engagement initiatives. Familiarity with HR reporting or basic HR analytics. Experience working in a fast-growing startup or technology company. Exposure to process improvement or systems implementation projects. #LI-Hybrid Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion We proudly celebrate the unique qualities that make you you, 365 days a year, and not just because it’s the right thing to do or good for business.
