Aksia Overview: Aksia is an alternative investments specialist providing investment management, advisory, and research services across private equity, private credit, real assets, and hedge funds. The firm employs more than 450 professionals, including over 170 investment professionals, across nine offices globally. As of December 31, 2025, Aksia oversaw $360 billion of assets under supervision. Position Overview: Aksia is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support the organization across the full spectrum of human resources activities. This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day HR operations, providing guidance to managers and employees, and ensuring compliance with Greek labor legislation and company policies. The HR Generalist will contribute to initiatives that enhance the employee experience, support business objectives, and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This role will be based in Aksia’s Athens office and will involve regular collaboration with global colleagues and operates during the hours of 11:00AM – 7:00PM Greek local time. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries Manage key HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment related documentation, recordkeeping, and offboarding Coordinate performance management and annual compensation review processes Oversee employee benefits administration and provide accurate payroll inputs for hires, terminations, employee leaves, overtime and bonus payments Ensure compliance with Greek labor legislation, company policies, GDPR requirements, and other applicable employment regulations Maintain accurate employee records Prepare HR reports, analyze workforce data, and support HR metrics and reporting requirements Support continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or similar HR role Solid knowledge of Greek labor legislation and employment practices Experience with the ERGANI Information System and employment-related reporting requirements Experience supporting payroll processes in collaboration with payroll teams or external providers Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
