HPC Performance Developer Alliance Services Plus - GECI International | Permanent Contract | France & Benelux About Alliance Services Plus A specialist in High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence for over 15 years, Alliance Services Plus operates on the largest national and industrial HPC infrastructures in France and Europe (CEA, CNRS, TotalEnergies, SAFRAN). The Role You will develop and optimize scientific applications for next-generation HPC architectures. You will work on code porting, performance optimization, and application deployment on cloud and hybrid infrastructures, integrating the latest technologies (GPU, AI). Main Responsibilities
Development and optimization of HPC applications (Fortran, C/C++, Python)
Application porting to GPU architectures (CUDA, HIP, OpenCL, OpenACC)
Code parallelization (MPI, OpenMP, hybrid MPI+X)
Performance analysis and profiling (VTune, TAU, Nsight, gprof)
Algorithmic optimization and vectorization
Application deployment on cloud HPC infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Containerization and orchestration of scientific applications
Integration of AI solutions in HPC workflows
Benchmarking and performance evaluation on new architectures
Technical documentation and knowledge transfer
Required Profile Education: Master's or PhD (Bac+5/PhD) in Computer Science, Scientific Computing, Computational Physics, or equivalent Required Technical Skills:
Mastery of HPC development: Fortran, C/C++, Python
Expertise in parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP)
Experience with modern architectures (multi-core, many-core, GPU)
Knowledge of profiling and optimization tools
Understanding of hardware architectures (CPU, GPU, memory, network)
Assets:
Experience in GPU programming (CUDA, HIP, directives)
Knowledge of cloud HPC platforms
Experience with scientific codes (CFD, MD, quantum chemistry)
AI/ML skills applied to HPC
Scientific publications or open-source contributions
Personal Qualities: Technical curiosity, analytical ability, autonomy, innovative spirit, scientific communication, multidisciplinary teamwork Conditions
Permanent contract based in France (Paris region or client sites) or Benelux
