School Head Chefs and Chef Managers – London Hospitality2ay are looking for School Head Chefs and Chef Managers to join our team and work with several schools across London on a temporary basis. Our bookings range from Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools and Higher Education settings and we pride ourselves in delivering a quality service for our candidates and clients alike. As a School Head Chef/ Chef Manager your role can be 5 days working week from 7am to 3pm (may vary) with the potential to go permanent. Duties as a School Head Chef/ Chef Manager: Planning/ assisting in planning menus to fixed budget, following strict guidelines Preparing in the preparation of food (breakfast, breaks and lunch) Monitoring and managing supplies Managing the catering team Maintaining kitchen and food safety standards Complying with Food Safety legislation Work Experience Previous Catering experience as a Head Chef/ Chef Manager preferably within schools/ contract catering environment (min 5 years’ working experience) Excellent communication skills Excellent organisational skills Confident working in a busy kitchen Food Health and Safety training Hospitality2day are a central London based staffing agency and work with a huge variety of clients in and around London.
