Description
We are seeking a technical Hardware Compliance Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on ensuring product excellence, acting as the primary lead for global certifications while maintaining the technical integrity of our hardware throughout its entire lifecycle. You will work with world-class technology, ensuring our products are compliant, durable, and meticulously documented. Key Responsibilities: Global Compliance: Navigate the landscape of global regulatory compliance, owning the strategy and execution for CE and FCC certifications. This includes interpreting international standards and coordinating with external partners for market entry  Lab & Partnership Management: Act as the primary liaison for external 3rd party labs and Notified Bodies . Continuously explore and certify new labs to expand our testing network and ensure cost-effective, timely certifications.  Design Phase Engagement: Actively engage in the early design process to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into product architecture from the initial phases. In-House Capability Building: Lead the development of in-house testing capabilities for pre-compliance activities, allowing for rapid iteration and risk reduction before external lab testing. Reliability Support: Provide essential support for environmental reliability testing to verify product performance under various stress conditions. Engineering Quality: Oversee engineering quality through lifecycle management and version control systems. Technical Requirements: Experience: 3–5 years in hardware quality, regulatory compliance, or related engineering. Certifications: Proven track record managing CE/FCC certification processes. Testing: Experience supporting environmental or reliability testing protocols. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
