Description
Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2026 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team? About the role As a GTM Strategy & Operations Associate at Flex, you'll sit at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations — working directly with Revenue leadership to drive growth and business clarity. Your work will span three areas: high-stakes strategic initiatives, financial & performance modeling, and the executive-facing deliverables (e.g., business review, board materials, all-hands decks) that keep leadership aligned and informed. You will work across Sales, Account Management, Business Development, RevOps, Product, and Analytics to design the operational processes that make the Revenue organization run and translate ambiguous problems into crisp, actionable recommendations.  The ideal candidate will bring first principles thinking, strong modeling skills, sharp attention to detail, comfort working in fast-paced environments, and the executive presence to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of three days per week in our New York headquarters. Candidates outside of the NY/NJ area may be eligible for our relocation assistance program. What you’ll do Lead high-priority strategic initiatives and translate findings into crisp strategy docs and executive recommendations. Analyze performance data and build models to forecast key drivers of revenue and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Own and maintain key financial models, including ongoing updates, scenario analysis, and infrastructure improvements to support executive and board-level decision-making. Produce executive-facing communications and deliverables including board materials, all-hands presentations, monthly business reviews with the Flex leadership team, and weekly business reviews with Revenue leadership. Leverage AI tools to enhance workflow automation and streamline operational processes across all Revenue teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Manage cross-functional projects and design key operational processes in collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Business Development, RevOps, Product, and Analytics. Key qualifications Experience: 3+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, strategy & operations, revenue strategy, or a related role. Subject matter expertise: Strong financial modeling skills with experience building and maintaining complex models; comfortable with both quick-turn analysis and rigorous, detailed builds. Strategic thinking: Ability to work from first principles to structure ambiguous problems and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.  Executive presence: Comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior leadership; able to distill complex analysis into executive-ready narratives and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Execution: Exceptionally detail-oriented; able to produce polished, executive-ready work product without sacrificing speed. Organization: Proven ability to manage complex projects and keep multiple workstreams on track in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment. Technical skills: Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve workflow efficiency. Familiarity with SQL and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
