About the role
We have an exceptional opportunity for a Graduate Software Development Engineer in Test, to join our talented team of hardware designers and embedded software engineers. Together, you’ll deliver fully tested, high-performance, and trusted systems. In this exciting role you'll have end-to-end visibility across the entire stack, owning different aspects of testing and shaping how quality and reliability are built into our cutting-edge technology. You do not need a background in quantum computing! You will learn this along the way.
What you will do:
As a Graduate Software Development Engineer in Test at Riverlane, you will:
Develop and execute test plans for Quantum Error Correction Systems
Learn about and support the creation of testbenches using Python and Pytest
Run system tests and perform debugging to resolve issues in collaboration with other engineers
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to understand specifications and define test strategies for Quantum Error Correction systems
Learn and apply best practices in System Test to make methodology improvements
What we need:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related discipline
Some familiarity with Python
Good communication and problem-solving skills
An interest in learning about quantum computing
