Role We are looking for a Global IT Manager to join our IT Operations team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In this role, you will lead Orfium's global IT operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT services that support our growing global business. You will oversee identity and access management, endpoint management, SaaS administration, end-user support, vendor management, and continuous IT service improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced IT professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with team leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, global technology environment. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop the global IT Operations team across Sri Lanka and Athens, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee global IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, endpoints, and enterprise systems, ensuring high availability, performance, reliability, and security. Manage identity and access management, user onboarding and offboarding, access controls, and the lifecycle of IT assets, systems, and software, from procurement through deployment and maintenance. Partner with the Security Operations team to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls, respond to security incidents, and ensure compliance with security best practices. Drive global IT operational excellence by standardising processes, managing vendors, improving service delivery, and ensuring consistency across all regions. Lead IT projects from planning through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies. Manage the global IT budget, financial planning, and resource allocation to support business objectives and the company's continued growth. Requirements Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7–10 years' experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or IT Management, preferably within a global technology environment. Proven experience leading IT teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced organisation. Strong technical expertise in identity and access management (IAM), SaaS administration, endpoint and device lifecycle management, and IT support operations. Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta, Atlassian, 1Password, MDM/endpoint management tools, VPN solutions, and IT service management (ITSM) tools. Solid understanding of user onboarding and offboarding, access control, software licensing, procurement, vendor management, and contract renewals.
