Our mindsets are:  Do the Mahi, Be Bold, One Team and Take Good Care .  Our talented team members embody these mindsets and are passionate about making a difference at T&G.  The Role We're looking for Glasshouse Workers to join our team in Ohaupo on a casual basis. You'll be working with our tomato crop in the glasshouse. This is a hands-on role that includes: 🍅 Picking tomatoes 🍅 De-leafing tomato vines 🍅 Plant care, including pruning, clipping and twisting 🍅 Packing and grading of freshly harvested tomatoes No previous horticulture experience is needed — full training is provided. You'll play an important role in working efficiently to ensure our quality produce makes its way to our customers. About you The ideal candidate will: 🍅 Reliable and punctual with good availability for casual shifts 🍅 Physically fit and able to do hands-on work all day, including standing, bending, lifting up to 25kg, and working on your feet for most of the shift, and working on a high trolley from time to time 🍅 Hardworking with a good attitude. 🍅 A team player who gets along well with others. 🍅 Willing to learn and follow instructions - onsite training to learn new skills is provided 🍅 Happy working in warm glasshouse environment 🍅 Have strong attention to detail and take pride in doing a good job.
