GI Expert Nurse Practitioner — Clinical Reports To:  APP Pod Lead Licenses Currently Held: Preferred RN compact License Required Location: We are only hiring from the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin Employment Type:  Full-Time Role Overview As a GI Expert Nurse Practitioner at Oshi Health, you'll deliver high-quality, virtual-first gastrointestinal care to adults with complex digestive conditions through our telemedicine platform. You'll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with dietitians, and behavioral health specialists to provide coordinated, whole-person care that helps patients achieve lasting digestive health improvements. What You'll Do — Key Responsibilities Deliver virtual patient care in alignment with Oshi's evidence-based care model, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for GI conditions with a focus on DGBIs, GERD, and IBD via video visits and chat messaging Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators) to implement coordinated, comprehensive care plans Adhere to clinical protocols including ROME IV criteria and AGA and ACG guidelines to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care delivery Document patient interactions accurately and timely within the EHR, maintaining thorough and compliant records Allocate approximately 30 hours per week to direct patient care and 10 hours to documentation, meetings, and administrative responsibilities This is not a traditional 9-5 role — scheduling includes a mix of early morning, evening, and weekend hours to meet patient access needs. Flexibility and willingness to work outside standard business hours is essential Participate in quality improvement, clinical program development, and professional training to stay current in the field of gastrointestinal care Pursue cross-licensure opportunities and maintain good standing with all relevant licenses and certifications What We're Looking For — Qualifications & Requirements Required Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing Current certification by ANCC, AANP, or other qualifying agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner Minimum of 3 years of experience in gastroenterology specialty in an outpatient setting Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care providers including physicians, psychologists, and registered dietitians Preferred Licensure in 2 additional states desired — candidates must be willing and able to obtain within 60 days of hire Experience with or willingness to learn common administrative and clinical technologies (Zoom, Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena, or equivalent) Prior experience with telehealth platforms Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment with evolving workflows and ambiguity Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:  Competitive, commensurate with experience, with annual bonus eligibility Health Benefits:  90% employee premiums paid for medical, dental, and vision coverage Time Off:  3 weeks paid PTO + 11 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday Retirement:  Eligibility to contribute to 401(k) Work Style: Remote-first — work from home anywhere in the US within our approved states Growth:  Advanced training by GI-specialized clinicians and professional development support as we scale Licensure:  Cross-licensure support and reimbursement opportunities Life Concierge:  Dedicated persona
