The General Manager (GM) will oversee the operations and strategic direction of a glass processing company, ensuring efficient production, high-quality standards, and customer satisfaction. The GM will manage all aspects of the business, including operations, team leadership, financial performance, and business growth, while driving innovation and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic plan, aligning operations with business goals. Identify opportunities for market growth and diversification of services. 2. Operational Excellence: Oversee all glass processing activities, ensuring efficient workflows, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards. Monitor equipment performance and implement maintenance schedules to reduce downtime. 3. Quality and Compliance: Maintain high standards of quality for all products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Implement safety protocols and environmental practices to ensure compliance with regulations. 4. Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor operational costs and profitability. Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms. 5. Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of production, maintenance, and administrative staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide growth opportunities for staff. 6. Customer and Market Focus: Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality products and timely delivery. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote the company's services and capabilities. 7. Innovation and Sustainability: Identify and implement innovative technologies and processes to enhance productivity and product offerings. Requirements 1. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). At least 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations. Strong knowledge of glass processing techniques, technologies, and industry standards. Proven ability to manage large-scale manufacturing operations and multidisciplinary teams. 2. Skills and Competencies Strong English language skills, other languages are welcomed. Excellent MS Office skills. Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in production planning, supply chain management, and quality assurance. Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Familiarity with ERP systems and modern manufacturing technologies. 3. Technical Knowledge Understanding of the manufacturing processes and equipment used in glass processing.
