Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field operations across a variety of residential and light commercial construction projects throughout the Lancaster, PA area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys working alongside crews, and can keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities Lead and actively participate in daily construction activities on residential, multifamily, renovation, remodeling, addition, new home, and light commercial projects. Supervise field crews, assign daily tasks, and ensure work is completed according to project plans and timelines. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and other construction documents. Perform and oversee carpentry and general construction work while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project management to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain safe, organized, and productive jobsites in compliance with company safety standards. Assist with project startups, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities. Identify field challenges, develop practical solutions, and minimize project delays. Track daily progress and communicate project updates, material needs, and scheduling concerns to management. Travel to project sites throughout the Lancaster, PA region. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Construction Foreman, Working Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, or similar leadership role. Strong experience with residential construction, multifamily renovations, remodeling, additions, new home construction, or light commercial projects. Hands-on carpentry and general construction experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and manage daily jobsite operations. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and delivering projects on schedule. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites throughout the Lancaster area.
