[Summary] A leading collaborative design platform is seeking an experienced backend-focused engineer to enhance and evolve an integration-driven application. The project is centered on building and maintaining robust integrations using Ruby on Rails and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on designing, implementing, and scaling connections with third-party systems. The role will contribute to improving reliability, extensibility, and overall integration architecture across the platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with multiple external APIs, designing integration workflows, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. [Task and Deliverables] Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails to support integrations. Build and extend integration logic using TypeScript, ensuring reliability and scalability. Integrate the platform with third-party APIs and external systems. Collaborate with internal teams to define integration requirements and technical solutions. Improve existing integration architecture with a focus on maintainability, performance, and observability. Requirements [Required Experience] Strong experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments. Experience with TypeScript. Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams. Experience integrating identity services, especially using OAuth. [Nice to have] Hands-on experience with  Google APIs  (Calendar, Chat, etc.) and app integrations. Familiarity with  MCP (Model Context Protocol) . Prior experience building integrations for SaaS or productivity tools.
