Description
Severa is the market-leading SaaS solution for professional services organisations, serving around 50,000 users in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands. With Severa our customers can manage projects and resources as well as time tracking and invoicing processes. Our goal is to grow our presence in the Nordic market and become the most beloved tool for project teams. We are now looking for a Full-Stack Developer (AI) to lead the development of AI-powered features in our product. What will you be doing? You will play a key role in developing AI features for our product, working across the full stack - from concept and UI to backend APIs and automation. You'll plan and implement the right approach for each use case, whether that's an LLM-powered feature, a predictive ML model, or something entirely new. This includes collaborating closely with our product management team on roadmap planning and technical decisions, as well as ensuring the features you build run reliably in production. Looking ahead, we're also building out a Data Lake, which will open up exciting new possibilities for the AI/ML services you can build on top of it. What are we looking for? Several years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and shipping full-stack projects into production. Solid hands-on experience with C# .NET and React / TypeScript. Practical, hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered features to production - using LLM platforms such as Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI (or equivalent), whether in a professional or significant personal project. Strong programming skills, with hands-on experience working in an AI-first development pipeline - using agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as part of your day-to-day workflow. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues and a proactive approach to new challenges. Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform — Azure experience is a strong plus, but equivalent AWS/GCP experience is fine. Excellent communication skills in English, which is our working language. Bonus points if you have experience in: Engineering prompts and evaluating LLM output quality and reliability in production Working with MCP or similar tool-calling and agent architectures Implementing vector databases and RAG patterns Balancing AI cost/latency trade-offs (model selection, caching, token optimization) Exposure to data lake / data platform technologies (e.g. Microsoft Fabric) - an area we're actively expanding into Setting up AI observability to track model performance, drift, or usage in production What to expect when joining us? When you join our Severa R&D team, you are stepping into a forward-thinking environment where AI is integrated into the core of our development lifecycle. We are committed to an AI-first approach, moving GenAI from exploratory projects to production-ready workflows. In this role, you will: Drive AI Innovation: You'll take features from discovery to deployment using our AI-aided development pipeline, with real ownership over how AI is applied to solve customer problems - not just implementing a spec. Work in a Cohesive, Autonomous Environment: You'll join a small, cross-functional feature team (3-5 people) with end-to-end technical responsibility - backed by a dedicated Team Manager and Product Owner, so you can focus on shipping rather than navigating the process. Collaborate and Grow: You'll join our AI Champions network and share knowledge with fellow developers through our developer guilds, in a culture built on autonomy and continuous improvement as we scale across the Nordics. Our product development organization consists of ~30 people. You'll belong to one of our feature teams, where you will work in close c
