FPGA Design Engineer Description: We are seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our team focused on developing high-performance  solutions for a range of applications, including power electronics, control systems, and advanced automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing FPGA-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop FPGA architectures and digital circuits tailored for applications such as renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and industrial automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications, contributing to innovative solutions in the field of power and energy management. Perform simulations and validation of designs to ensure functionality and performance under varying operational conditions. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs in laboratory and field environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Document design processes, test results, and project progress, providing clear communication to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in FPGA design and development using VHDL or Verilog. Familiarity with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus). Experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and high-speed design. Technical Skills: Proficient in using simulation and verification tools such as ModelSim or Questa. Strong understanding of digital design principles and methodologies, with the ability to apply best practices in FPGA design. Experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) for thorough validation of designs. Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, Ethernet) relevant to embedded systems applications. Additional Requirements: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, meeting project deadlines.
