Description
Gopuff is seeking a Forklift Operations Associate (FOA) to join the Distribution Center team. We are looking for motivated and committed individuals. You will play an essential role in our Distribution Center, which requires drive, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will accomplish a variety of warehouse responsibilities, including stacking and storing merchandise while using a forklift, clamps, and push-pull equipment.   Customers turn to Gopuff to provide their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We're assembling a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk takers who are ready to help us reshape the world of retail faster than ever before. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.   You Will: -Load and unload freight -Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull equipment. Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations -Pulls and prepares products for shipment -Operate material handling equipment -Complete inspection forms prior to operating equipment. Report safety concerns to management -Maintain Warehouse Organizational Standards -Ensure the Standards of Conduct policy is followed to provide a safe and inclusive work environment -Assist Area Manager and Leads with all warehouse tasks when delegated    You Have: -High School Diploma or GED Equivalent -1+ years of high-reach forklift experience -2+ years of warehouse, logistics, military, or equivalent experience -General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g., Google G-Suite) -Ability to lift up to 49 lbs.   We care about our team and want to make sure you know what to expect: -Handle, scan, and move product in a safe and well-organized manner -Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts -Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move product -Lift up to 49 pounds. Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol -Work in freezer locations periodically throughout shifts   #LI-DNP
