  About The Role You will own financial reporting, treasury management (fiat & crypto), sponsorship revenue oversight, and finance systems integrity. This role sits at the core of the business — ensuring liquidity stability, audit readiness, and strong financial governance in a fast-moving environment.   Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Audit Own monthly close and management reporting (P&L, BS, cashflow) Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure ledger integrity Drive variance analysis against budget Manage external audits and tax filings Ensure revenue recognition aligns with accounting policies Treasury & Liquidity (Critical Function) Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts Manage short-term liquidity forecasting (payroll, vendors, event spend) Oversee payment approvals with strong internal controls Execute FX conversions and manage banking relationships Support regulatory and compliance requirements Digital Assets & Crypto Oversight Oversee custody accounts (e.g. Coinbase, Anchorage) Reconcile on-chain transactions with accounting records Coordinate fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat movements Ensure secure and compliant digital asset workflows Sponsorship Revenue Control Oversee contract-to-invoice accuracy Monitor collections and aging schedules Reconcile fiat and crypto settlements Track high-value receivables to support treasury forecasting Systems Ownership Maintain integrity across Xero (GL), crypto subledgers, and revenue systems Improve reconciliation automation and documentation Strengthen process controls and reduce key-person risk   What We’re Looking For 8–10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2-3 years in-house/startup commercial experience in Web3 or fintech Big 4 background - qualified CPA holder Proficiency in English is a MUST; Fluency in Cantonese will be a PLUS Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills Experience managing treasury and multi-currency operations Comfortable working with digital assets or crypto environments Experience in startups, events, or high-growth environments preferred Highly structured, detail-oriented, and hands-on   Why Join TOKEN2049 Operate at the forefront of Web3 and digital assets Work on global events with significant financial scale High ownership and executive exposure Opportunity to professionalize and build finance infrastructure   Start Date: Immediate Location: Hong Kong
