As we scale production and field critical defensive systems, we are looking for a Vice President of Product who can integrate technical vision, customer needs, and national-level policy to shape the future of space security.
Team / Department
This role sits within the Finance & Operations organization and supports company-wide planning, forecasting, hiring, program execution, and strategic decision-making across the business.
The Role
The Financial Analyst will work closely with company leadership across engineering, operations, recruiting, and program management to support financial planning and decision-making across the business.
This person will help manage forecasting, budgeting, hiring models, proposal pricing support, investor reporting preparation, and internal operational analysis. The role requires someone who can operate in a fast-moving startup environment, build structure where needed, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
This role is highly cross-functional and ideal for someone who wants broad exposure to startup operations, aerospace/defense programs, and company scaling.
Key Responsibilities
Support company financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Build and maintain headcount, hiring, and cash flow models
Assist with investor and board reporting materials
Support pricing and financial analysis for government proposals and contracts
Track operating expenses, burn rate, and program financial performance
Partner with recruiting and department leads on hiring plans and compensation analysis
Help improve financial reporting processes, dashboards, and internal controls
Support scenario planning for fundraising, growth, and production scaling
Work with leadership on strategic analysis and operational decision-making
Coordinate with external accounting, payroll, tax, and finance partners as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
2–6+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, startup finance, aerospace/defense finance, or related analytical roles
Strong Excel / Google Sheets financial modeling skills
Comfortable working with large datasets and building forecasts from incomplete information
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
High attention to detail while still maintaining execution speed
Experience supporting venture-backed startups or high-growth companies
Experience with government contracting, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with budgeting for engineering organizations or hardware programs
Experience with pricing proposals, indirect rates, or program finance
Experience with ERP, HRIS, or financial planning systems
Requirements
On-site role (no remote or hybrid arrangements)
