Join Velocity Electronics as our next  Final Quality Engineer  in Singapore. The Quality Engineer ensures product conforms to our customers’ requirements and assists with responding to customer concerns related to product quality in order to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes. You will be responsible for: • Perform final quality control (QC) checks on inspected product to ensure it conforms to our customers’ requirements • Provide training and technical support and assist with responding to customer concerns related to product quality • Conduct internal QMS and ESD audit In addition, you will: • Review inspection results and, as needed, perform supplemental inspections on product to determine acceptability of product • Document results of final QC checks in Velocity’s ERP system • Communicate inspection findings to the Purchasing and Sales teams and advise on the actions necessary to resolve issues (if applicable) • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure Inspectors are performing inspections to standard • Conduct inspection skills and technical trainings for quality inspectors • Provide technical support to Sales and Purchasing Departments • Assist the Quality Manager in Customer Corrective Action Request • Perform other duties as requested by management What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role? Our ideal candidate is: Exceptional judgment Detail-oriented and thorough Strong written and verbal communication skills Problem solver Able to effectively coordinate and communicate with others Adaptable and flexible Able to work on several projects simultaneously Independent Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Diploma holders with relevant experience will also be considered Minimum 2 years of experience performing quality inspection on electronic components with demonstrated ability to make valid conformance decisions Expert product knowledge, experience working with complex ERP systems Understanding of basic math, including percentages and tolerances This position will be located in our Singapore Office, APAC Regional Headquarters.
