Position Overview We are currently recruiting Field Service Engineers to support our activities in the semiconductor industry. This role is ideal for motivated and ambitious individuals seeking to develop their technical skills in a demanding, international environment. Full training will be provided. The position is based in the Dresden area (Germany), primarily supporting a key customer site. Occasional travel to other customer sites across Europe may be required. The Field Service Engineer supports the team on providing highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installations, as well as contributes in the resolution of any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems, on problems of limited scope. The role operates on a  rotating shift pattern, including both day and night shifts . Key Responsibilities Perform  preventative and corrective maintenance  on high-value semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with  health, safety, and environmental standards. Work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. Maintain accurate service reports and documentation. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, gases knowledge. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Follows standard practices and procedures in analysing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Profile & Requirements Valid  driving licence and willingness to travel. EU work authorisation required. Minimum 1 year + of technical or mechanical experience. Good communication skills in  English (professional level required), written and oral. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Customer-focused with excellent time management and organisational skills. Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory) High School diploma or completed professional training in a technical field (e.g. mechatronics technician. electrical/electronic field); preference for University’s degree in Engineering or related field. Experience in  electronics, pneumatics, or vacuum systems. Previous experience with  semiconductor capital equipment. Proficiency in  Microsoft Office Suite.
