We are looking for a Facilities Officer. Salary:   £32,000 - £33,000 Location:  Based in the head office in Hammersmith but you will be traveling to other Advance offices across London and the Southeast at least once every 2 weeks. About the role: The Facilities Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to day management and operation of facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment for staff and visitors. This role will involve regular travel to the regional Advance offices. Visibility across all sites is an essential part of the job description. Your key responsibilities and duties include: Assist with the day-to-day operation and upkeep of buildings and grounds Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure standards are maintained Ensure facilities comply with health and safety regulations and building standards Maintain and update health & safety records, logs, and risk assessments Support compliance checks and statutory inspections (e.g., fire safety, electrical testing) Report hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken On a rota basis, support the Finance and Operations Directorate by covering the Hammersmith reception between 2pm and 5pm, and on the days when the Operations Administrator is out of office About You: To be successful as the Facilities Officer you will have great organisation and problem solving skills, a good understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You will need to travel regularly between sites, build relationships with different teams and be the go-to person for facilities management queries.
