Description
K2 is building the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown, unlocking performance levels previously out of reach across every orbit. Backed by $450M from leading investors including Altimeter Capital, Redpoint Ventures, T. Rowe Price, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Alpine Space Ventures, and others – with an additional $500M in signed contracts across commercial and US government customers – we’re mass-producing the highest-power satellite platforms ever built for missions from LEO to deep space.   The rise of heavy-lift launch vehicles is shifting the industry from an era of mass constraint to one of mass abundance, and we believe this new era demands a fundamentally different class of spacecraft. Engineered to survive the harshest radiation environments and to fully capitalize on today’s and tomorrow’s massive rockets, K2 satellites deliver unmatched capability at constellation scale and across multiple orbits.   With multiple launches planned through 2026 and 2027, we're Building Bigger to develop the solar system and become a Kardashev Type II (K2) civilization.  If you are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and you're excited about contributing to the success of a groundbreaking Series C space startup, we’d love for you to apply.   The Role   We are seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and proactive Executive Assistant to own the operational tempo for members of our senior leadership team and help drive the success of our growing startup. You'll be a trusted partner to the team, driving projects forward and finding smarter ways to work. Our ideal candidate has a bias toward action, a high bar for quality, and a genuine excitement for the work we're doing. This role supports multiple leaders across a fast-cadence environment with 10+ meetings per day and high-volume communications.    Responsibilities   Serve as a trusted point of contact for executives, completely managing complex calendars, supporting communications, and triaging competing priorities across internal teams and external stakeholders   Anticipate needs, flag conflicts, and proactively solve scheduling, communication, and logistics challenges before they escalate   Actively leverage AI or other tools to streamline research, drafting, summarization, scheduling, and other repeatable tasks   Support cross-functional projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, and action items while keeping stakeholders aligned and accountable   Own end-to-end logistics for internal and external meetings; and executive travel; including itineraries, accommodations, expenses, and ground transportation   Identify inefficiencies and proactively bring solutions to help the team work faster and smarter, including new tools, better templates, and smarter workflows     Qualifications   Bachelor's degree   Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple moving pieces without dropping the ball   Demonstrated judgment about what’s urgent vs important.
