General responsibilities can include: Ensure that room set ups and break downs for all events are carried out to company standards Deal with customers in a prompt and professional manner Address any complaints effectively Deliver staff briefings for events Ensure the security of the premises, stock, and cash, following the company cash handling procedures Record open and close stock counts, monitoring levels of stock and liaising with the cellar team Follow the management pack to log any wastage or report incidents Responsible for use of tills and PDQs First point of call for dealing with issues on the day and liaising with the area manager The successful Bar Supervisor / Manager will have the following: Previous experience in Bar / Retail / Catering Events in a Supervisor / Manager capacity The ability to empower and lead a team Ability to build relationships and promote a positive work environment Ability to identify strong team members and recommend upskilling
