Description
The Opportunity Every day, thousands of manufacturers rely on Secomea's Secure Remote Access platform to securely connect engineers with the industrial equipment that keeps factories, utilities, and critical infrastructure running. Secomea is entering its next phase of accelerated growth. Building on strong commercial momentum, the company is now strengthening its engineering teams as a strategic foundation for further growth. We're hiring an Engineering Team Lead for one of our Cloud teams, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people leadership. This is a role with significant influence in a growing international company where initiative, technical excellence, accountability, and impact matter. What You'll Do As Engineering Team Lead, you'll lead one of the engineering teams building the customer-facing heart of our cloud layer that brings together identity, governance, secure access, APIs, and user experience into a seamless experience trusted by industrial organizations worldwide. It enables enterprise IT to centrally govern secure access while allowing technicians to quickly find, access, and work with the industrial resources they're responsible for. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role where leadership is an addition to engineering—not a move away from it. You'll spend much of your time designing, coding, reviewing code, solving complex technical problems, contributing to architectural decisions, and supporting production operations while serving as the direct people leader for your team. You will work closely with UX, Product Management, and engineering teams across the platform to deliver intuitive user experience while maintaining the enterprise-grade governance, security, and reliability that industrial customers expect. You'll solve challenging engineering problems spanning distributed cloud systems, APIs, identity, governance, scalability, observability, security, and user experience. As a people leader, you will coach and support team members through regular feedback, development discussions, hiring activities, and performance management. You will drive engineering excellence through sound architecture, high code quality, and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires both technical depth and the ability to create clarity, build trust, and help a team perform at a high level. You will be part of Secomea's engineering leadership community, working closely with other Team Leads and Engineering Managers to evolve our technology organization, engineering practices, and technical direction. What We’re Looking For You may already be leading a team, or you may be a senior engineer who naturally takes ownership, mentors colleagues, and drives technical initiatives. In either case, you are motivated by helping people succeed and understand that strong teams are built through trust, communication, and shared accountability. You have a strong software engineering background and significant experience building distributed software systems using modern technologies such as .NET and Azure. More importantly, you're curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new technologies as products and platforms evolve. Most importantly, we are looking for a strong team player who thrives in a rapidly growing environment and is energized by combining deep technical work with leading and inspiring people. Experience We Value You don't need to tick every box below, but you should bring a solid foundation in .NET and modern cloud technologies. Core Skills Strong experience with C# and .NET Ability and curiosity to quickly master new technologies Experience with modern databases, preferably document databases Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools in production settings Unit and integration testing — xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest; comfortable with TDD or BDD
