About The Role At Very, Engineering Managers play a critical role in both technology leadership and people leadership. You'll be responsible for helping your squad deliver high-quality products and services while creating an environment where engineers can thrive. Working alongside Product Managers, Architects, Delivery Managers and fellow Engineering Managers, you'll help turn ambitious ideas into customer experiences that genuinely make a difference. This isn't a role where you'll spend your time removed from the action. You'll stay close to technical decisions, support engineering excellence and help guide the future direction of your team's products and platforms. You'll be leading teams that build and evolve customer-facing products using modern technologies including TypeScript, React, Nest.js and AWS, working at a scale where engineering decisions have a direct impact on millions of customer interactions every year.
