Description
About the Role
AvePoint is looking for a technical, hands-on Engineering Manager to join Web and GTM Operations and manage our Engineering function. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to operations leadership and executives, defining a north-star GTM architecture and translating business objectives into a prioritized technical roadmap while partnering closely with Growth, Website, and Business Operations to engineer a modern, high-performing GTM motion and website infrastructure across the entire customer journey. You will be responsible for turning strategy into scalable, automated execution by owning roadmap delivery, technical design, and cross-functional alignment across marketing, data, and revenue systems.
You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, drive SCRUM delivery rigor, and own the reliability, security, and modernization of our GTM tech stack, web platform, and data infrastructure. You must be deeply focused on data, experimentation, and leveraging AI to unlock new levels of efficiency and growth while confidently challenging the status quo to build a world-class GTM engine. This role owns three mission-critical areas: GTM infrastructure, data foundations, and AI-driven automation, requiring strong engineering judgment, stakeholder leadership, and the ability to drive delivery from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead team and delivery operating model
Lead a high-performing engineering team and implement SCRUM practices to increase delivery speed and predictability.
Set engineering standards for quality, security, documentation, and operational readiness across GTM systems.
Own GTM technical roadmap and architecture
Translate business objectives and innovation priorities into a multi-quarter technical roadmap across the tech stack and web platform.
Establish and maintain a “north-star” GTM architecture and integration strategy that improves scalability, measurement, and governance.
Own data infrastructure and measurement foundations---
Own strategy and governance for marketing and GTM data platforms, pipelines, event collection, and identity alignment across systems (from first touch to lifecycle).
Ensure data integrity and measurable outcomes against core marketing metrics (including MQL) through consistent instrumentation and standardization.
Own web infrastructure and site reliability
Maintain the health, performance, availability, and security of global web properties supporting the GTM stack across CDN, cloud, and application infrastructure.
Partner with Engineering and DevOps to improve observability, deployment reliability, uptime, and performance optimization across marketing web platforms.
Oversee incident response processes and operational readiness for deployments, DNS, SSL/TLS, caching, CDN routing, and platform availability.
Compliance, privacy, and security by design
Architect global consent and privacy orchestration (including cookie compliance) while protecting measurement and data integrity.
Ensure systems and processes meet internal compliance, security, and auditability standards through enforceable governance and repeatable controls.
AI-native enablement
Design and build AI-native integration patterns using Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect LLMs and AI agents to internal systems and GTM tools, enabling secure AI workflows on top of core platforms.
