We are now hiring to scale our R&D effort. We are looking for hands-on individuals who are excited to help shape the future of robotics. We are seeking an experienced embedded engineer to help build an advanced, integrated manipulation system. Responsibilities - Customize and adapt existing motor driver PCBA to meet project requirements - Oversee PCBA bringup, validation, and troubleshooting - Design, develop, and iteratively improve firmware for motor drivers and other peripheral boards - Design both moving and stationary cable harnesses - Develop and integrate the electrical system for a battery-operated robotic platform Qualifications - BS, MS, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - Proficient in C, C++, and Python programming - Strong background in power electronics design and debugging - Experience in firmware development, debugging, and testing for microcontrollers - Advanced knowledge of embedded RTOS, concurrency primitives, and bare-metal concepts such as ISRs - Deep familiarity with common bus protocols, including I2C, UART, SPI, etc.
