Join Us at the Forefront of Quantum Computing Innovation 🚀 At the heart of our Assembly & Production team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of electronic boards — from requirements gathering through integration, validation, and ongoing operational maintenance. You will act as the interface between the systems, opto-electronics, software, and integration teams. Your Key Responsibilities 1. Electronic Board Management & Development Design and develop electronic boards using Altium Designer (schematics, component selection, routing) Gather requirements and contribute to writing technical specifications Manage hardware versions, component obsolescence, and manufacturability improvements Coordinate board integration within Quandela’s product Produce the documentation associated to each electronic board 2. Associated Software Development Develop and maintain embedded firmware on microcontrollers Develop Python scripts for equipment control, configuration, and validation Ensure consistency across hardware, firmware, and software evolutions Produce documentation required for integration and maintenance 3. Configuration Management & Traceability Manage versions of boards, firmwares, and associated software tools Ensure traceability of configurations deployed in each system Maintain technical documentation and manufacturing files Guarantee availability of the correct versions for integration and production teams 4. Validation & Production Transfer Define validation strategies and implement test protocols Contribute to the definition and evolution of test benches Ensure every new board is fully documented and production-ready before transfer Collaborate with teams to guarantee maintainability of developments Requirements Engineering degree or Master's in electronics / embedded systems + 5 years of experience in electronic development or systems integration Analog and digital electronic design PCB development using Altium Designer Embedded firmware development on microcontrollers Python development Hardware/software version and configuration management Technical documentation writing Implementation of validation and testing protocols Fluent English (C1) — technical documentation writing in English Nice to have Automated test bench development Communication protocols Linux environments Git Component obsolescence management Complex hardware/software systems integration You will succeed in this role if, you are rigorous, well-organized, equally comfortable in a hands-on lab environment and in producing documentation, with a natural ability to bridge development, integration, and production.
