We are seeking to hire an Electronics Engineering (m/f/d) within the electronics team to enable Quantum technologies. Passionate about helping create technologies which can change the world? We may be the right place for you, so get in touch! What You’ll Accomplish: Take responsibility for the hardware system design, and realisation of a complex, large-scale electronics control system. Design, build and test electronic products using your skills of analogue and digital circuit design together with industry-standard CAD packages and test equipment. Write the documentation of your electronics circuits and verification tests. Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas. Maintain the multidisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists, working towards a common goal. Play a key role in building control systems for quantum computers. Maintain UQs’ position of using state-of-the-art electronics solutions. Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues. Engage with project planning activities, risk management, and scheduling requirements. Help with fast turnaround proof of concepts and feasibility discussions. Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
