Description
About Harmony Harmony gives every employee an always-on expert for every service request, inside the tools they already use. Deployed inside Slack and Microsoft Teams, its agents draw on a context graph connecting each employee's identity, devices, applications, and history, resolving requests across IT, HR, finance, procurement, and legal automatically, before a ticket ever opens. With 100+ prebuilt agents that deploy in days, not months, and a 70% no-touch resolution rate, Harmony removes the manual work from enterprise service without removing the humans who should own the hard problems. Built for IT and HR teams that are done waiting for their service platform to catch up with the rest of the business. As our first dedicated DevOps hire, you won't be joining an existing function - you'll be defining it. You'll own the full infrastructure layer, set the standards for how we build and ship software, introduce new tooling, and apply AI-native approaches to areas of DevOps that have historically been manual, directly shaping the developer experience for a team that's growing fast. This is a builder role, not a maintainer role. Your work will be visible across every team and every deployment. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own the cloud infrastructure end-to-end - design, provision, and operate a scalable, cost-efficient environment using infrastructure-as-code, keeping reliability and developer ergonomics front of mind. - Drive CI/CD maturity - build and continuously improve pipelines that give engineers the fastest possible path from commit to production, with automated testing, rollback safety, and clear deployment visibility. - Elevate the developer platform - identify and close gaps in tooling, environments, and local development workflows so engineers spend time building product, not fighting infrastructure. - Take full ownership of FinOps - implement cost attribution, rightsizing, and continuous optimization practices that keep cloud spend in line with growth while preserving performance. - Build and operate observability systems - unified logging, distributed tracing, and intelligent alerting that surfaces issues before customers notice them and accelerates incident resolution. - Embed security at every layer - implement secrets management, vulnerability scanning, network policies, and compliance guardrails as a standard part of how we build and ship, not as an afterthought. - Build AI-powered DevOps agents - apply LLM-based tooling and autonomous agents to automate monitoring triage, cost recommendations, incident runbooks, and repetitive operational tasks across the team. - Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to anticipate infrastructure needs, contributing to architectural decisions with a clear operational perspective. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required Qualifications - 6+ years of hands-on DevOps or platform engineering experience, ideally in at least one high-growth B2B SaaS company. - Deep proficiency in cloud infrastructure on AWS - including networking, IAM, managed services, and cost management - with everything managed as code - Strong CI/CD experience: designing and optimizing pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI across multi-service, multi-environment deployments. - Solid Kubernetes and container orchestration experience - cluster management, autoscaling, resource optimization, and operational best practices. - Production experience with observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent) including SLOs, alerting, and distributed tracing. - Security-first mindset: practical experience with secrets management, network policies, and cloud security posture management. - Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar) with a bias for eliminating manual, recurring operational work. Preferred Qualifications - Experience defining AI workflows, copilots, automation, or autonomous agents. - Degree
