The Role:  Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) is seeking a highly technical DevOps Engineer to help build and scale the cloud, automation, and deployment infrastructure powering gita®, kilo® , our automotive products and future PFF products. You’ll work at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and automation—owning CI/CD pipelines, AWS environments, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code while enabling engineering teams to ship reliable software at speed. Salary Range: $115,000-135,000   What You’ll Do Architect, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and automation Build and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform (modules, workspaces, state management, reusable patterns) Configure and optimize GitHub (repos, branching strategies, GitHub Actions, integrations, permissions) Design, maintain, and extend Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments Develop automation to streamline development workflows, environment provisioning, and release processes Implement containerized environments using Docker and AWS container services (ECS/EKS) Perform system performance tuning, load testing, and reliability analysis Monitor and troubleshoot production and staging environments using AWS native tools and open‑source observability stacks Collaborate closely with Software, QA, and Operations teams to improve deployment velocity and system resilience Document infrastructure, pipelines, and operational processes for internal engineering teams   What you Bring 3–5 years of hands‑on DevOps engineering experience Strong expertise with AWS (IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation) Advanced proficiency with Terraform (IaC best practices, modular design, automation workflows) Experience configuring and managing GitHub at scale Deep experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines Strong Linux fundamentals and shell scripting skills Experience with Docker and container orchestration Familiarity with Java, C/C++, or Python build environments Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Knowledge of open‑source tooling and automation frameworks Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams Bonus: Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef; embedded build systems Successful applicants will be asked to show proof that they can legally work in the U.S We like you just the way you are.
