For our in-house composites department, CompositesLab, we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Design & Analysis Development Engineer with a passion for and deep understanding of composite structures & materials to join our growing team. The successful candidate can be based in any of our three office locations - Noordwijk (NL), Galway (IE) or Rome (IT). CompositesLab is one of ATG's internal engineering business units, with team members based in the Netherlands, Ireland and Italy. Our talented team is composed of highly motivated, multi-disciplinary engineers with a diverse international background. Since 2013, CompositesLab has been developing a game-changing composite CFRP lattice and grid-stiffened structure technology. This technology provides optimised structural solutions that are mass-efficient and cost-effective, allowing our customers to meet the stringent constraints of space applications. Initially developed internally at ATG and further supported through several large-scale ESA development programmes, the technology has now advanced to a level where real space applications are being realised. These applications include components for launchers (e.g. interstage and upper stage structures), satellite structures (e.g. central cylinders), and multi-payload adapters. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries).
