About the role The Demand Generation Marketing Manager owns how KickUp generates awareness and converts pipeline for new business. This role builds and runs the campaigns, automation, and measurement that identify the right school districts, earn their attention, and move them toward meaningful conversations with sales. KickUp has the product, the customer results, and the reach to win. What this role adds is the systematic demand engine — multi-touch campaigns, lifecycle automation, and reporting that consistently generates qualified pipeline and shows marketing's impact on the business. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You'll own the strategy and execute the campaigns, working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to turn positioning into pipeline. What Success Looks Like: A predictable pipeline engine. Marketing reliably generates qualified leads and opportunities, and everyone can see where they came from. Campaigns that convert. Integrated programs move district leaders from first touch to sales conversation — not just clicks and opens. A clear line from spend to revenue. Every channel is measured, and marketing can prove its contribution to pipeline. Systems that scale. Nurture flows, lead scoring, and reporting that grow with the business instead of breaking under it. Key Responsibilities Demand Strategy & Campaigns Own the demand generation strategy across the funnel for new business, from awareness through marketing-qualified opportunity. Design and run integrated, multi-touch campaigns that target the right school districts with the right message at the right time. Build demand programs for new customer acquisition and collaborate for expansion into our existing customer base, in partnership with Product Marketing and Event Marketing. Own the demand calendar, aligning campaigns to launches, conferences, and seasonal buying cycles in K-12 education.
