We're looking for an experienced Database Engineer (MS SQL) to design, develop, and optimise SQL Server solutions that power business-critical applications. You'll play a key role in improving data quality, automating database processes, and ensuring reliable, high-performance data platforms. Responsibilities Automate data quality and reconciliation processes. Develop and optimise SQL-based data processing, validation, and monitoring solutions. Investigate data issues and implement reliable technical fixes. Support Pub/Sub integrations and migration from Azure Pipelines to GitHub Actions. Contribute to the onboarding of new applications and data flows. Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders. Requirements Strong hands-on, 5 or more years, experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including T-SQL development, stored procedures, functions, views, and query optimisation. Proven experience in analysing, reconciling, and troubleshooting complex data issues. Experience designing and maintaining database objects and implementing performance improvements. Understanding of database automation, scripting, and CI/CD practices. Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions. Experience with Java, C#, or Python is considered a strong advantage. Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Azure Pipelines would be nice-to-have.
