Key Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance database solutions to meet organizational needs. Develop and maintain database architecture documentation, standards, and guidelines. Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into effective database designs. Lead initiatives for database optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies and platforms including relational and NoSQL databases. Ensure data security, integrity, and availability across all database environments. Guide and mentor database administrators and development teams on best practices and architectural standards. Implement data modeling best practices and ensure alignment with data governance policies. Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in database architecture and recommend improvements accordingly.
