Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server environments. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize efficiency. Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations. Ensure database availability and business continuity through regular maintenance and monitoring. Implement database security, user management, access controls, and encryption policies. Execute database patching, upgrades, and migration activities. Monitor storage utilization and support capacity planning. Troubleshoot database incidents and resolve performance-related issues. Support production, UAT, SIT, and development database environments. Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and development teams to resolve database-related issues. Maintain database documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures. Perform database health checks and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with banking security standards and internal IT policies. Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities when required.
