Who we are looking for
A proactive and highly skilled Data Scientist, eager to apply and advance expertise in algorithms and data analysis. Proficient in leveraging Python, Jupyter, and GCP services to analyse, extract, and drive insights from complex datasets within our core HQ team . This individual will take ownership of key data science initiatives , developing and optimising solutions that deliver significant business value. This role is fundamental to sustaining momentum on high-impact projects and is crucial for embedding core data science intelligence and building institutional knowledge. The position requires lateral thinking and strategic problem-solving , ensuring a direct and embedded contribution to our solutions enhancement work.
Key Skills:
Strong and demonstrable programming skills in Python and extensive experience using Jupyter notebooks for data analysis and visualisation.
Proven proficiency in GCP services such as BigQuery, Google Cloud Functions, and Vertex AI.
Solid understanding and practical application of machine learning techniques in data activation solutions, including supervised and unsupervised learning, classification, and regression models.
Expert proficiency in data manipulation and cleaning using libraries like Pandas and NumPy, ensuring high-quality datasets for analysis and modelling.
Excellent communication and presentation skills , with the ability to articulate complex findings, derive strategic insights, and present recommendations to diverse stakeholders independently.
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate proactive problem-solving, critical for an embedded HQ role.
