There really is a place for you here. We’re looking for a Data Engineer to maintain and support our newly established Azure data warehouse. In this hands-on role, you’ll collaborate with the Applications Team, Finance, the Data Governance & Quality Manager, and the wider IT function to ensure our data remains accurate, timely, and trusted. In a small but growing team, you’ll gain exposure to multiple data domains making this an ideal role for someone eager to learn and grow. Requirements Responsibilities Maintain and enhance the Azure Data warehouse. Develop and maintain ETL processes, data mappings & transformations. Ensure data integrity, quality, privacy, and security, in line with client and regulatory requirements. Optimise data solutions for performance and scalability. Adhere to Interpath’s software engineering best practices. Act as a point of contact for business data developing subject matter expertise     Essential Experience Required 2+  years’ experience in a data engineering role. Hands on experience with Databricks notebooks and Azure Synapse pipelines. Strong SQL experience (including views and stored procedures). Experience of working with APIs to integrate data flows between disparate cloud systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The aptitude to quickly understand information, business models and requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish working relationships.   Desirable Criteria: Experience following CI/CD protocols through Azure DevOps pipelines. Expertise in Business Intelligence, ideally via Power BI for data visualisation and reporting. Awareness of regulated environments, including data legislation and cyber security accreditations (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials). Experience of working in a financial services firm.
