ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and curious Data Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to generate actionable insights that help drive strategic business decisions. In addition to traditional analytics tasks, you will also support text and document annotation initiatives, helping generate high-quality labeled data that powers our NLP and LLM-based AI solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is comfortable with complex data models, and can translate data into compelling narratives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with Senior Analysts and Lead Analysts to interpret client data and propose data-driven strategies.
- Clean, validate, and pre-process client datasets for analysis and modeling.
- Translate analysis into compelling business narratives and strategic recommendations.
- Build lightweight scripts and workflows to automate data handling and save time.
- Continuously improve internal workflows and enhance analytical processes.
- Collaborate on tool configurations, and enhancements to boost efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience working in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Consumer, Automotive, or other product companies/startups
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is preferred
- Strong end-to-end ownership with the ability to independently drive projects from problem definition through execution
- Able to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable insights through data analysis and technical/domain expertise
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Techstacks / Tools:
- Must Have: Python, Excel (or Google Sheets), SQL
- Strongly Preferred: Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and related AI technologies
- Eligibility: This position requires candidates to qualify as a U.S. Person under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 C.F.R. § 120.62). Candidates must also be physically located in the United States, including Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories.
