With over 100,000 users across industries including HVAC, plumbing, electrical maintenance, facilities management, and building fabric maintenance, we are entering a new era of intelligent automation, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making for service firms.   Role summary We're looking for a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to turn raw data into insights that support strategic and operational decisions. You'll build reports and dashboards, analyse business performance, safeguard data quality, and partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations. The ideal candidate has strong SQL, experience in a SaaS environment, and uses AI tools to work faster and raise reporting quality. Key responsibilities Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders. Develop, maintain and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and datasets. Build interactive dashboards and reports in  Power BI . Analyse business performance and provide actionable insights. Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports. Monitor KPIs across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing and Operations. Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance. Investigate discrepancies and run root-cause analysis. Document reporting logic, business definitions and data sources. Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve reporting processes. Support month-end reporting and business reviews. Use  AI tools  (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar) to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, generate SQL and troubleshoot. Continuously explore AI capabilities to enhance analytics and processes. Non-negotiables What matters most Strong, hands-on SQL and a SaaS reporting background.  You'll turn ambiguous business questions into accurate, self-serve reporting the business trusts. Technical Strong  SQL  — joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, subqueries. Experience with  Power BI  or a similar BI tool. Advanced Microsoft  Excel . Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures. Experience working within a  SaaS  business. Experience using  HubSpot  for reporting and analysis. Proficiency with  AI tools  (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar). Analytical & professional Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to gather requirements and manage multiple priorities. Ownership mindset with minimal supervision. Preferred skills SaaS metrics — ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, Churn, Expansion, Contraction NetSuite reporting Pytho
