We’re looking for a motivated Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk team at Mintos. You’ll play a key role in analyzing, assessing and monitoring Lending Companies to ensure the stability and reliability of our marketplace. We take risk management very seriously at Mintos in order to protect the interests of our investors. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will become a vital part of our Credit Risk Team, playing a crucial role in monitoring and evaluating lending companies to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the Mintos marketplace. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team, allowing you to develop and advance your career as our business continues to grow and evolve. You will: You will have the opportunity to contribute to the structuring of deals, support decision-making, and participate in due diligence and monitoring activities. Your responsibilities will include: • Support the due diligence process on loan originators across the world by performing initial financial and portfolio performance analysis; •  Conduct regular monitoring of existing clients, identifying early warning signals and potential risk factors. Assist in tracking and evaluating the performance of lending companies to ensure portfolio quality and stability; • Collaborate across business channels to gather customer due diligence information and support ongoing monitoring; •  Prepare initial credit and financial analyses of lending companies; • Assist in the technical execution of credit risk processes, including prospectus updates and ad-hoc analyses. •  You will have the unique opportunity to explore business practices beyond Latvia in regions like Europe, Asia, Africa and Central America. Your professional skills and background: Must-haves • At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis; • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail; • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis; • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; • Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn. Nice-to-haves • Interest in exploring how AI tools can be applied to improve data analysis and automation within credit risk processes; • Previous experience in an alternative lending company, banking or audit.
