About the Role: As Corporate Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to meaningfully impact Rent the Runway and its Legal team, primarily by assisting with legal systems and processes, and managing administrative aspects of the Legal team to ensure its operational effectiveness.  You will report to the Chief Legal & Administrative Officer and work collaboratively with the other members of RTR’s Legal team. We are an “office centric” company and you will work from Rent the Runway’s Brooklyn headquarters Monday - Thursday.   What You'll Do:  Oversee the complete contract lifecycle process, including intake, execution, renewal, and termination.  Serve as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract needs, status, and timelines. Lead quarterly business reviews with cross-functional teams regarding contract management. Educate and train employees on Company policies and the vendor engagement process. Manage the Legal budget and tracking, support the accounting teams accrual process, and coordinate with outside counsel as needed. Oversee the Legal team technical stack, including legal AI tools, to maintain and scale effective legal operations for the team and our internal clients. Support the Legal team with information requests as needed (e.g., due diligence, data rooms, audits, litigation responses, vendor screening). Support public company compliance workstreams on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to, Annual Meeting preparation and quarterly earnings processes. Support the Legal team on certain aspects of marketing, advertising, and partnership initiatives. Perform administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining corporate records, coordinating signatures, mailing, and other related matters. About You:  3+ years of relevant in-house experience. Registered Notary in the State of NY is a plus. Experience managing a contract lifecycle management platform (SpotDraft experience a plus).  Excellent organizational skills, with keen attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy. Strong ability in Excel, Google Suite, and MS Office. Experience with DocuSign, SpotDraft, Ironclad, or similar contract management system is a plus. An ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to prioritize and manage multiple critical projects under tight deadlines.  Unquestioned integrity and an ability to work on sensitive and confidential matters.
