The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Controls Service Coordinator responsible for coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of the controls service department and technicians. Must be detailed and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of verbal and written correspondence with customers, technicians, supervisors, and the field. Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment. Participation in other aspects of the Controls business as required. inventory, and training programs.
Responsibilities
Scheduling of filed service labor and creation of labor bookings.
Add Service Accounts and Billing Accounts for new Controls Service Customers.
Ensuring customer satisfaction by over-communicating.
Creation of Field Service Projects, Work Orders (WO) , and POs for procurement.
Acts as the 1st Point of c ustomer c ontact on service requests received by phone or email .
Dispatch Technicians based on urgency of the request and availability of part s and labor.
Call customers as a reminder of next day appointments and advise customers of schedule changes .
C ommunicate expectations in scope and schedule for Preventive Maintenance work between customer and field staff .
Notify s ales staff with details on customer requests for pricing on parts and services .
Coordination of additional resources with other department managers as needed.
Support Controls s ervice operations by producing system reports as requested by management.
Request and track material purchases and delivery in support of Controls s ervice p rojects .
