As a Controls Deployment Engineer, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced engineers to bring autonomous buildings to life. This is a opportunity to build expertise at the intersection of commercial HVAC, intelligent controls, and cutting-edge AI while helping shape the future of the built environment. What you’ll do Work on our deployment sites: Work alongside our Applied Engineering team to deploy, commission, and validate autonomous building technologies in live commercial buildings. Investigate Building Systems: Perform site surveys, inspect HVAC equipment and controls, and gather the information needed to support digital twin development and successful deployments. Commission and Validate Systems: Test building controls, sensors, actuators, and equipment to ensure systems operate correctly and are ready for autonomous operation . Troubleshoot Across the Stack: Diagnose issues spanning mechanical equipment, building controls, networking, and software, following problems from the physical system through to the autonomous platform. Support Autonomous Building Deployments: Assist with system startup, functional testing, and deployment activities while working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable field performance. Collect and Analyse Building Data: Capture, organise, and validate operational data from building systems to support system optimisation and continuous product improvement. You must have Proven experience : Commercial HVAC experience. This means having spent time in mechanical rooms installing, surveying, testing, or commissioning equipment. Exceptional communication skills : Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and leaders in changing environments. Bonus points for Dutch language skills. Organized and strategic : Curious, open-minded, and eager to contribute while continuously learning. Self-directed and capable of making progress independently without needing constant direction Collaborative mindset: Work effectively across teams, customers, and subcontractors to deliver successful deployments. Adaptability : Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, eager to learn, iterate, and innovate. Flexible and comfortable operating in uncertain or changing situations.
