Own tax compliance across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions, including sales tax obligations across 9+ global destinations. Manage payroll operations end to end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance as headcount scales. Build the internal controls, SOX-readiness, and compliance infrastructure required ahead of Series B. Use AI tooling to monitor compliance obligations and flag exposure across jurisdictions in real time. Cost Discipline & Financial Controls Conduct line-by-line reviews of budgets and actuals, identifying cost reduction opportunities across every function. Own vendor spend management, including contract review, renewal scrutiny, and spend consolidation. Partner with FP&A to ensure budgets reflect operational reality and variances are caught and explained immediately.
