As a Consultant – Analytics - COE , you will design, execute, and scale analytical workstreams that power ClearView’s client engagements. You will work on projects such as ATUs, forecasting, conjoint analyses, proprietary data mining and survey designing and coding (e.g., Qualtrics), while contributing to tool development and analytics automation for the firm. As a CoE team member, you will support global project teams in structuring, analyzing, and visualizing complex datasets to inform strategic recommendations for life sciences clients. You will combine strong analytical skills with an understanding of life sciences to help answer critical questions across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate business questions into clear analytical approaches, data requirements, and model structures for engagements spanning new product planning, market access, corporate and investor assessments, and diagnostic strategy.
Collect, clean, structure, and validate data from multiple sources, including sales, claims, epidemiology, primary research outputs, and internal proprietary datasets.
Design, program, and analyze quantitative surveys, including ATUs, demand assessments, and pricing research; support project teams in defining sampling plans and questionnaire logic.
Build and maintain quantitative models for market sizing, forecasting (patient based and sales based), patient flow, scenario testing, and pricing / contracting simulations across a variety of therapeutic areas and business questions.
Conduct conjoint / discrete choice and related trade off analyses, including experimental design, model estimation, and result visualization under guidance from senior team members.
Support web crawling and data harvesting efforts to automate tracking of markets, competitors, and financial / deal activity where appropriate.
Develop and maintain reusable analytical assets (e.g., standard forecast frameworks, KPI dashboards, ATU codebooks, pricing simulators) that can support multiple types of strategic work, including launch, access, and corporate growth questions.
Develop dashboards and visuzalizations (e.g., in Excel, PowerPoint or BI tools) that clearly communicate key findings and trends to internal and client stakeholders.
Support the creation and refinement of reusable analytical tools and templates (e.g., standard forecast models, patient flow frameworks, KPI trackers).
Document assumptions, methodologies and data sources to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and efficient hands offs across global teams.
Collaborate closely with Insights and consulting teams to integrate analytics outputs into cohesive storyline and client deliverables.
Contribute to internal capability building by sharing analytical best practices and participating in developing training material and code or template libraries.
Qualifications & Requirements:
4–6 years of experience in analytics, forecasting, or data driven roles within life sciences consulting, pharma, healthcare analytics, or related sectors; strong analytical internships may be considered.
Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a quantitative or life sciences field (e.g., engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, biostatistics, pharmacy, biotechnology).
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose ambiguous business questions into structured analytical workplans.
